Washington — The United States has recently witnessed a wave of controversy after federal authorities halted the granting of citizenship to several immigrants at the very last moment just minutes before they were scheduled to take the oath during pre-arranged naturalization ceremonies.
The decision, implemented at the historic Faneuil Hall in Boston, left families stunned as selected applicants were unexpectedly pulled out of line without prior notice. Among those removed were several Yemeni applicants, according to witnesses present at the ceremony.
