Saudi Foreign Minister, Rubio Discuss Efforts to Enhance Security in Yemen
Riyadh -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which they discussed developments in Yemen and efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region.
According to official statements, both sides emphasized the importance of intensifying coordination between Riyadh and Washington to support Yemen’s political process and improve prospects for peace. The talks also covered other regional files, including Sudan, with both ministers reaffirming the need for continued consultation on shared challenges.
The call reflects the ongoing diplomatic engagement between Saudi Arabia and the United States, underscoring the depth of their strategic partnership, particularly following Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s recent visit to Washington.
