2 Soldiers Killed, 5 Injured in Military Transport Accident in Yemen’s Hadramout
Hadramout — Two soldiers from the National Shield Forces were killed and five others injured on Tuesday after a military transport bus lost its brakes and collided with an armored vehicle belonging to the Second Brigade of the National Shield.
The accident occurred at the western exit of Al‑Abr district in Hadramout governorate, according to local security sources.
The bus, carrying personnel of the National Shield Forces, reportedly suffered a mechanical failure before crashing into the brigade’s military convoy.
Emergency teams rushed to the scene, transferring the injured soldiers to nearby medical facilities. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the brake failure.
The National Shield Forces, operating under Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, have been deployed across several governorates in recent months as part of efforts to bolster security and stability in the country.
