Aden — The European Union Delegation in Yemen has reiterated its support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the Government of Yemen, emphasizing the importance of strengthening security and stability across the country.

In a statement issued this week, the EU mission welcomed ongoing efforts by Yemeni authorities to enhance security institutions and protect civilians, stressing that such measures are vital for restoring confidence and advancing peace.

The Delegation underscored that political dialogue remains the only viable path to resolving Yemen’s internal disputes, calling on all parties to engage constructively in negotiations. “Differences must be settled through political means and inclusive dialogue, not through violence,” the statement read.

The EU also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Yemen’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, while continuing to provide humanitarian assistance to millions affected by the conflict.

This renewed stance comes amid heightened regional and international efforts to push for a comprehensive peace process, as Yemen faces mounting humanitarian and security challenges.
