Abu Dhabi — Yemen’s Prime Minister has concluded a high-level official visit to the United Arab Emirates, describing the trip as “successful and fruitful” in advancing bilateral cooperation and regional stability.

During the multi-day visit, the Prime Minister held talks with senior Emirati officials, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. Discussions focused on strengthening economic ties, enhancing humanitarian coordination, and supporting Yemen’s reconstruction efforts amid ongoing challenges.

In a statement issued at the end of the visit, the Yemeni leader expressed deep appreciation for the UAE’s continued support for Yemen’s sovereignty, development, and humanitarian needs. “This visit marks a new chapter in our strategic partnership. We are grateful for the UAE’s steadfast commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity in Yemen,” he said.

The two sides signed several memoranda of understanding covering infrastructure development, energy cooperation, and healthcare support. Emirati officials reaffirmed their readiness to assist Yemen in rebuilding critical sectors and improving living conditions for its citizens.

The Prime Minister also met with members of the Yemeni diaspora and business leaders in the UAE, encouraging investment and collaboration to help revitalize Yemen’s economy.

The visit comes amid renewed international efforts to support a lasting peace in Yemen and bolster regional cooperation. Both governments pledged to maintain close coordination on political, economic, and humanitarian fronts.
