Israel says missile fired from Yemen, before blast heard
An explosion was heard across Jerusalem on Friday, AFP journalists reported, after the Israeli military said it had identified a missile fired from Yemen.
“The (Israeli army) has identified the launch of a missile from Yemen toward Israeli territory, aerial defense systems are operating to intercept the threat,” the military said in a statement.
It was the second such missile launched from Yemen in less than 12 hours.
