A source of the Yemeni Foreign Ministry affirmed  to AIJES  that the ministry is following up on the situation of the youth who traveled to Russia and verifying the background and reasons for their departure from Yemen, and taking all necessary measures for their return.

The source warned of the need of Yemeni youth to be careful in dealing with any false and exaggerated information spread on various social media and other platforms about the nature of work and opportunities for success.

AIJES had published an urgent appeal to a large number of Yemeni youth currently in the Russian Federation, demanding that the Yemeni government return them to their country after they were subjected, according to their appeal, to deception and fraud by Yemeni and Russian figures under the umbrella of an unknown company located in the Omani capital, Muscat, according to the sources, after they discovered that the terms of the signed contracts were not implemented, but rather they found themselves in camps close to the battle fronts.
