In an official statement, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied allegations linking it to attacks carried out by the Houthis in Yemen and the region. Tehran emphasized that Houthi support for Palestine is an independent decision and accused those making such claims of attempting to mislead global public opinion.

Iran also condemned the U.S. airstrikes targeting sites in Yemen early Monday, describing them as a "blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter."

Meanwhile, Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh warned that Iran "will not hesitate to respond forcefully" to any aggression from the U.S. or Israel.

This escalation comes amid rising regional tensions, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to retaliate against Houthi attacks by striking Iran, labeling it the "sponsor" of the Houthis. Tehran, however, maintains that it does not dictate the group's decisions.
